Don't worry. It need not be a physical death. More like...But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep. Strangely (and thankfully), I'm not weary.
My uncle told his sister (my aunt) that he was going to day and he died within 12 hours. Although he was a heart patient and was getting treated for an infection, no one thought that he would die.
I have no regrets. I was the same one who changed from the good to bad to ugly and back. I just hope that it gets over fast without troubling anyone. So long, folks.

My uncle was a smart guy. In grade 3, when the teacher could not understand a math problem, my uncle explained it to her. And my uncle was doing better than his brothers and sisters - he had forty cows when he was only 24 years old. A woman named Louise was going to marry my uncle. I asked my uncle what happened - he said one of the cousins of Louise sabotaged it by a false accusation against my uncle.
ReplyDeleteSo that was close to fifty years ago - uncle John is 72 now. But when he menttioned Louise, I felt like saying - STOP IT! SHE WASN'T THAT GREAT. SHE WAS JUST A PERSON. THERE'S OTHER PEOPLE. Stop worrying about it - that was fifty years ago.
And you better start thinking clear too, Arvind. There's other women in this world. Stop being like my uncle.
HiAnon,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment.
My ex doesn't bother me much these days. I have got to a time point where I realize that I have spent enough energy on her. A beauty of life is that when someone doesn't reciprocate the love, one automatically starts ignoring that someone. For me, the problem was in the delay of understanding that she could have easily stood up for the relationship.
For me now, it's a new love that I'm trying to come into terms with. It's not only a girl's love. It's a challenge for me (like everyone else) to love the neighbour (and myself) during the trials of everyday life.
BTW, I think your uncle must have been a bull, to have had 40 cows at the age of 24.
